I am city-born and bred, and although I do enjoy times in provinces and the ‘countryside’, I know in my heart I will always be partial to city living, despite its busy atmosphere, and the fast-paced lifestyle associated with it.  I guess that is why I love living in the City of Pines, which is a fusion of both city-living and the countryside, what with its lush greens and cool atmosphere.  Everyday on my way to the office, I look at the scenery and just feel so refreshed, revitalized and ready for a long day at work.

I have to admit though, that I do miss the hustle and bustle of Manila – where the action is, so to speak.  Grand events, fabulous shows, concerts and such, are things I do miss about the big city.  Just recently, over the summer, my family and I had the chance to stay for a week in Manila, and despite the traffic and heat, enjoyed our time away from home – going to huge malls, attending events (Penshoppe Impact at the Philippine Fashion Week, among others, which my eldest Kayla immensely enjoyed) and eating out.  Although summer is usually for beach outings (which we already did as early as the first week of April), surprisingly we did have fun in our Manila trip before classes began.

If there is one thing though, that I missed doing during that stay, it was to visit UP Diliman, which was my “home” for four years, when I was in college.  Up to this day, I miss the Diliman campus terribly, and all the fun it brought me in my teenage years (and beyond).  I am partial to Quezon City over other parts of Manila because I know the place by heart, and it is near one place I consider ‘home’, which is the Diliman area.

I have heard about this property development in the North Edsa area, known as the Zinnia Towers being developed by DMCI Homes, which caught my interest over the internet.  My heart raced when I visited its website and discovered how great its features and amenities are, including resort-inspired amenities, customized unit features to suit specific needs and an efficient security and maintenance system that your family deserves.  We are seriously giving this a thought, because we also have plans of sending our kids to UP when they reach college (not very long now since our eldest is in sophomore high), and Zinnia Towers will be an excellent choice for a home in Manila, or even as a wise property investment we should start considering.  Modern condo living at its finest is being offered at reasonable cost; maybe you should likewise check it out soon.
