IF YOU’RE attuned to what’s happening in the universe, then you’ve probably heard of Facebook, a social networking site. Over the weekend I’ve received (and answered) a number of entertaining quizzes (and lists!), one of which includes unique UP experiences which I want to share with you this week:

Mark “X” if applicable:

[ ] Worried about getting bullied by fratmen or getting killed in a riot.
[ ] Got bullied by fratmen or was killed in a riot.
[X] Witnessed a riot.
[X] Watched the Oblation Run.
[X] Made friends with a teacher.
[X] Wore red or black on one of those wear red or wear black days.
[ ] Wore red on Valentine’s Day.
[X] Wore black on Valentine’s Day.
[X ] Breakfast at Rodic’s. (Tapsilog!)
[X] Learned UP Naming Mahal. (Still know it.)
[ ] Jogged around the campus. (Hey, no reason to, back then.)
[X] Visited the Vargas Museum.
[X] Knew at least one xerox lady, manong, or technician by name. (And Manong Fishball.)
[ ] Studied in Casaa. (Never. But loved its cheese pancake. With extra cheese.)
[X] Studied in McDonald’s or Jollibee Philcoa for one full night. (Wendy’s Quezon Av. pag blackout, not a full night, though. Usually just getting that iced tea fix, studying was just an alibi.)
[X] Watched a play that’s not required for Comm III.
[ ] Slept in the library – Main Lib! (nah, technically just in N1-REM stage)
[ ] Wrote to/for the Collegian. (Attempted, and frustrated stage.)
[ ] Got a pebble stuck in your shoe/slippers while walking in Sunken Garden. (Never been to Sunken Garden. Seriously. Seriously pathetic.)
[X] Subsisted on just streetfood (fishballs, kwekwek, squidballs, mais, dirty ice cream) for a day.
[X] Fell in love. (of course, but NOT in UP, nor with a UPian.)
[ ] Watched the Lantern Parade. (Uh-huh. I know.)
[X] Learned to stay awake for more than 24 or 48 hours straight. (3 papers + 1 exam in the morning)
[X] Watched a sexy art film for any GE class.
[X] Did a last minute paper. (3!)
[X] Got exempted from final exams.
[ ] Watched LIVE AIDS, Androgyny, Maskipaps or any well-known variety show.
[X] Joined an org. (literally, AN org: as in, only one: LangSoc, for about a month.)
[ ] Dated someone from UP. (I’m wondering why not.)
[X] Rode an Ikot and Toki. (Who hasn’t?)
[ ] Found a tambayan. (Hated tambayan hours, which explains short-lived LangSoc experience.)
[X] Saved money to photocopy all of your seatmate’s notes. (With no orgs, no extra-curricular activities, no bf on campus, guess whose notes got cooked at the photocopier?)
[X] Learned how to beg for a higher grade. (Again, wondering why not.)

Hey, don’t judge me on the basis of these admissions (of a pathetic UP existence?). At least not yet. There’s more next week.
